Recruitment Sourcing Specialist

£30,000 - £35,000

Excellent opportunity to join an expanding, successful Client as a Recruitment Sourcing Specialist to support hiring managers across the business attract, source and place specialist positions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Use social media networks (e.g LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) to source and connect with potential candidates
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify each positions requirements
  • Develop a network of candidates and industry professionals
  • Research and Identify new sourcing methods
  • Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and creating a shortlist of candidates for the hiring manager
  • Engage with candidates to assess suitability for the role and sell the Employer brand
  • Ask for referrals from internal and external networks for hard-to-fill roles
  • Identify future hiring needs and proactively source potential hires
  • Write and post attractive job advertisements
  • Log candidate information onto our Applicant Tracking System and other internal databases
  • Measure and report on recruitment metrics such as time to hire
  • Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to CQC regulations
  • Work collaboratively with the HR team to ensure a good level of compliance is maintained at all times
  • Negotiating with agencies on fees and reviewing agreements with the HR Director
  • Working towards and exceeding targets that relate to the number of candidates placed
  • Assisting with recruitment administrative duties when required.

To be successful for this role, you should combine knowledge of sourcing techniques with excellent relationship building and communication skills and will require:


  • Proven work experience as a Recruitment Consultant or Sourcing Specialist in-house or with an agency
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or other Human Resources Management Software
  • Confident searching on job boards using Boolean search techniques and direct head-hunting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously
  • Confident and self-motivated


  • Healthcare Recruitment experience advantageous but not essential
  • Previous experience working within a HR function
